Local storage, done right
Southern Interior Storage is a family owned and operated facility in Greenwood, BC. We run a secured yard of sea can storage units, built for people who need real, reliable space without the runaround.
The storage business grew straight out of our yard. Our family also runs Southern Interior Auctions on the same property, which means the site is active, staffed, and managed every day of the week. Your belongings are not sitting on an empty, unattended lot.
When you call or email, you are dealing with the family that owns the place. No call centres, no ticket systems, no waiting three days for someone to get back to you.

Meet the family behind the yard
Rob has been buying and selling for more than 30 years. Long before this yard existed, it was a passion he pursued on the side while helping run an oil and gas company with his brothers for over a decade.
In 2025, Rob and Chelsea took over Southern Interior Auctions and put down roots on this property. The storage business followed naturally. The yard, the sea cans, and a family that is on site working it every day.
Chelsea left her career managing a naturopathic clinic to work alongside Rob full time, bringing her organization and her genuine care for people to everything the family builds here.
The next generation
The whole family has a hand in it
Rob and Chelsea moved to Kelowna in 2013 thinking they would stay five years. Instead they put down roots and built something their whole family works on. Their three sons, Maddix, Owen, and Ronan, all pitch in around the yard, from working the site to helping customers, and in Ronan's case, occasionally staying home to look after the family's miniature Dachshunds and miniature horses.
Being a family business means taking pride in the work, treating people fairly, and building real relationships with the customers who trust us with their belongings.
